Are you ready to meet some kitties wearing designer fur coats?  Then look no further than this group of beautiful kittens...   Dolce & Gabanna, Gucci, Kimora ,  Valentino and  Versace !! These sweet kittens are some of the lucky ones!   In late June 2019, they were live trapped in an area of Waterloo known to have a lot of free roaming feral cats, and not many people willing to feed them.  Thankfully, there were a couple families in the neighborhood who had kids who love kitties, and when they saw some kittens living under junk cars with no mama around, and realized the kittens had no food available and were eating a dead kitten to survive, they ran home and asked if they could save these kitties and then asked their neighbor if they could borrow a live trap and catch them!  Two young boys - ages 10 & 11 - set a trap under the car and the first day caught 4 of the 6 kittens in a matter of hours!  When they caught one, they would get it out, reset the trap and run the kitten home to be put in a kennel and wait for another one to go in!  They caught the other two within the next two days, too!  they were guesstimated to be about 5 weeks old and would not have survived too long on their own - those two boys were HEROES  for these kitties - through and through!   They have been raised together in a foster home and at first a few of them were pretty wild!  Several of them were ready to be snuggled and loved on fairly quickly, but two of them really were content to be weary of humans!  They sure do love to play with toys, chase each other , run up and down their cat tree, and snuggle together now though!   They greet their foster mom at the door to their room, and if she bends over to clean the litter box or goes to sit on the love seat, it's not unusual to have one or two of them jump on her back so they are the first to get attention! :)   Valentino... what we can say about this little love bug??   Since day one, he has been the friendliest little guy, and seeks attention all the time!  He purrs constantly, lets you hold him on his back cradled in your arms like a baby, and he will also let you hold his head in your hands with his body cradled on your lap, too!  Purring all the time!  He has a little nickname given to him by his foster mom's grandkids... they call him 'Moo Moo' ... because his black & white, long silky fur coat is the color of a Guernsey cow!  :)  He paws at you for attention and BEWARE... if you don't pay attention to him, he'll leap to you or jump on your back if it's turned towards you!  Purring all the time!  ... :) yes he does!   His little motor runs no-stop!  He is very playful and gets along great with the other kittens - snuggling and roughhousing and all that good stuff! Both Valentino and Gucci appear to have some Maine Coon in their bloodline!  They have long hair, long ear tufts, and ear tips are sprouting, too - especially on Gucci!  Maine Coons can have all types of coat colors, but the tabby coat is the most recognized.  They also have a more distinguished look to their faces, and almost appear a bit to look a bit older than other kittens.  Did you know every kitten in a litter can have a different daddy - which is why they can look so different?  We're betting there was a Maine Coon mix male roaming the neighborhood, and these two are possibly real 'blood' brothers!   Five of the kittens were boys and only one girl... Kimora!  They were all completely vetted on 9/6/19 at 3 months of age ... boys were neutered and Kimora was spayed; they have had 3 FVRCP vaccinations each and their rabies vaccination; they all tested negative for Feline Leukemia; they've been treated for parasites with Revolution and have been dewormed; and they are microchipped!  LHAR will register your microchip for you at no additional charge, and the microchips come with a FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION, too!   Valentino's adoption fee is $125.00   - which is a BARGAIN for all the vetting he has had done!  His adoption fee is 'just a tad bit higher' because with him being a Maine Coon mix, we anticipate we will get a lot of applications for him, and we hope whoever really wants to adopt him won't mind paying 'just a little extra' to get a kitten like this who is so sought after.   The extra adoption fee will help us pay for kitties who may be with us for a little longer and/or help with higher vet bill some of them have.  Kittens are always best adopted in pairs so they can have a lifelong playmate and someone to rough and tumble with to get out some of that natural kitten aggressiveness, so we highly recommend adopting a pair of kittens if you have room in your heart, your home and your budget, and have no other pets.   "Until there are none, please adopt one; So they aren't blue, why not adopt two?"     (author unknown)   AND if you do want to   ADOPT A PAIR of kitties, we'll give you a $25.00 discount!!  WHOO HOO!
